Northington Woods is northwest of Mooresville going north on I-77 to exit 36 and traveling west on Hwy 150, about 30 miles to Uptown Charlotte. It sits in a very quiet and sereen part of Lake Norman. Homes in this neighborhood start in the high 300K and up to the 600K and range between 3000 square feet and over 5000 square feet. The architecture in this area brings more of the outdoors and mountain style appearance to the homes with large exposed wooden beams and beautiful stone work. Lots in Northington Woods range from around .75 acres to around 2 acres. Even though it is in a neighborhood it feels as if your living out away from the stress of the rest of the world. Some home sites offer very nice waterviews but most are just off the water. This area has slowly been developed and is truely one of Mooresville best kept secretes. Restaurants and shopping are just a few miles away for convenience. There are marinas that are close by that offer lake access and storage. What makes this community and area so appealing is the architecture and raw feel of the neighborhoods. If you get a chance to view the Northington Woods area one word will be said over and over "Beautiful". Well worth a trip to explore this part of Lake Norman.
